Default Home Depot trick for cheap paint........

I paint and stain a lot, owning a fixer upper home for 6 years now and slowly getting it completed as my budget affords.

I learned many tricks to save. One being mixing paint that is reduced. In todays world of colours, custom is fun! I often can't get exactly what I want on the chips anyways and I have a lot of darker colours on accent walls and on trim or furniture too.

I often go through the reduce paint which is usually good quality and the wrong colour was mixed. I think they sell those for $9 a gallon. Anyways, most do not know, you do not have to keep it that colour!

They will gladly mix that into another colour. So, if it's pink and you want an indian red colour, tell them that.............if it's ugly beige or brown and your want earth colour, they probably can do that too! Be creative and just ask for help if you do not know the bases you need for the colours you want. Most staff are eager to move the reduced product and will go out of their way to help you.........

They say paint is the cheapest way to clean up a dull room, using my trick, it's even cheaper! Have fun! If you run out of paint, or want to repaint later, just keep the lid where they can use the underside, (or paint onto something) that paint to colour match.

This is really a great idea for cheap renovation of your home. For the good renovation of your home, very well clean room and kitchen provide a great look. You can use open kitchen concept for reducing the light cost. It would save energy.
