I have always used the odd coupon. I'm now 46 with an adult daughter. I was a single mom for years and the truth is, I have regrets that I didn't do this years ago! Life would have definitely been easier. However it's never too late and I hope this encourages the younger groups to start right away. It's not always what you make in life, deifnitely what you spend..................
I love my stash now and have tons of coupons. My sister re-introduced me and truthfully proved the huge amount of savings I was missing out on. She mailed me a bunch of coupons actually! Since then, I have joined a few sites that I love the people and have no intention of turning back. I've always lived on a budget and barely made it. I did however make it.........it's not just couponing, it's a frame of mind to save...........everywhere you look, there's gotta be a part of you that challenges yourself to save. It's a mind set and once you start, it takes less time and changes to be exciting on what deal you can get or make with someone.
Life isn't dealing you a silver platter here. You have to go out and get things. You do not ask, you do not get! Simple.........................
Good luck to all! May the money you save bring financial stability.

I was lucky. I've been clipping coupons now and then for years before I "fell into SC". But after "lurking" for about a month, I signed up, and never looked back. Now not only do I share my wealth with friends and family, but I can say that I have been able to help so many people just with the stockpiling and the ability to save money. Food banks, shelters, my own family. I'll never be as thankful as I am today to do these things. And being that I could have done this so much earlier in life and didn't, well....I guess we all learn from our mistakes.
No matter, I'm a coupon a holic, and proud of it. And I will continue to find the best deal and price so that more money sits in my pockets vs someone elses till.Take a moment to check out my blog! http://couponsdealshoweasycanitbe.blogspot.com/ You might be glad that you did.......

I accidentally found SmartCanucks when looking for McDonald's online game codes. I figured out that lots of people just throw them out I was hoping to find someone to share codes with and split the prize. Well, I searched google and ended up finding a post on SC and went there, and to the site and was automatically HOOKED!!!!

I started couponing in my early twenties and ten years later I'm still going strong. I love shocking people around me by telling them how little I spend on things. My boyfriend brags about it to the point it embarrasses me lol, but actually I try even harder because he's so proud of how far I can make a dollar go.
